Your device should be rooted with a custom recovery like Clockworkmod and you should be on Gingerbread-based bootloader with EXT4 file format.

Required: Download Galaxy Tabs ICS ROM

Step By Step Instalations

1. Move ICS ROM .zip to the root directory of Galaxy Tab.

2. Boot into recovery, press the Volume up + Home + Power button to boot into recovery mode.

3. In recovery, format /system, /data and /cache from mounts and storage.

4. Wipe data / factory reset from main menu. and “choose zip from sd card” that you downloaded.

Let the Ice Cream Sandwich flash on Tab, Reboot when done. Your Galaxy Tab will now boot into an alpha build of Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich.
