Pinterest was one of the last leading social networks to build an official application for Android devices. Stress the word was as the company this week debuted its official app offering for Android smartphones and tablet devices.

It is worth the wait! Not only is Pinterest available as an Android app, the company this week also debuted its first ever iPad application, and came out with a redesigned iPhone app. We look forward to seeing how this mobile ubiquity will impact and improve the underlying service.
